Coming from a technical background, Abhinav believes that technology and entrepreneurship is the best method to bring change. His experience builds upon him running two startups while studying at Carnegie Mellon University. Abhinav is interested in consumer tech based companies and social enterprises with focus on education and healthcare. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and photography.
Andrew Ngui
Andrew is the Senior Program Manager, MIT Bootcamps. His focus is on marketing and alumni engagement. With over 20 years of experience in design, he builds creative experiences that empower and engage Bootcampers throughout their innovation journey.
An alumnus of the flagship MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, he co-founded Global Entrepreneurs, a social enterprise with a mission to engage aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide and equip them with the tools to bring about economic change and growth. This work is now part of MIT Bootcamps.
Andrew is a graduate of Stanford d.school’s, Design Thinking Bootcamp and holds a Specialized Honors in Design from York University and Sheridan College; a highly specialized design program that blends creativity, innovation, academic rigor and interdisciplinary collaboration.
During his time in academia at York University, he developed a mentoring program for international students. This led to a 5x increase in enrollment and engagement in student life activities. For this achievement, Andrew was awarded the York International award for internationalizing education.
Prior to joining MIT, Andrew worked with stakeholders in governments and corporate innovation teams to create scalable wayfinding systems that help people find their way, most notably in one of North America’s largest transit systems.
Bharat Monteiro
Bharat Monteiro is a passionate and seasoned Business Leader with experience through business cycles, across geographies, and various industries.
He built his career with a strong focus on Quality & Operations, transitioned into Solutions development & Productization, and has led business in North America, Europe and Asia.
Bharat is passionate about building businesses, growing teams and driving financial results to ultimately impact & enhance the end-customer experience.
He has worked with Fortune 500 corporations like General Electric & Invensys, and has worked in multiple business models including Manufacturing with Economic Value Added focus, Outsourcing, Consulting, and Direct & In-direct product sales. Bharat’s experience spans healthcare, automotive, food & beverage equipment manufacturing and electronics industries, in the United States, Mexico, Europe and India.
Currently, Bharat serves as the Director for South Asia for Masimo Corporation, with full P&L responsibility for Masimo’s businesses in the Indian Sub-continent, Singapore and ASEAN. He built the business in India, top-graded the team in Singapore & ASEAN, overhauled the in-direct sales channel and has delivered 20-30% growth year over year consistently for the last 5 years, with increasing margins, and reducing operational costs.
Bharat is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, has been a Lean Manufacturing practitioner for over 15 years, and has a Master’s degree in Operations Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Milwaukee, USA. After spending 12 years in the United States and 5 years in Europe, Bharat re-located to Asia, to help improve the healthcare ecosystem through his role at Masimo.
Bharat enjoys cooking, traveling, and yoga, and currently shuttles between Bangalore and Singapore.
Jitesh Surendran
Mr. Jitesh Surendran is a Capital Market Professional with 15 Years Experience in Management & Capital Markets in various countries under various roles starting his early career as a Derivative/CFD Broker in India, early 2000 to currently holding position as Chief Executive Officer of Mercantile Exchange Nepal Limited since August 2008. MEX Nepal is a Premier Commodity Exchange of Nepal, whose growth is often linked to the Spearheading captaincy of Mr. Jitesh Surendran to make it a very successful Commodity Exchange of Nepal. He has been successful in introducing very innovative products to the Nepalese commodity market including Agro delivery, Bullion delivery & Options. He has got vast Market Development and Research experience.
He has done his graduation from Loyola College, Chennai. He holds a Dual Executive MBA, Specialized in International Business Management & International Finance management, IMSR, Mumbai. Mr. Jitesh Surendran was elected as the Vice Chairman of South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE), Islamabad, Pakistan for 2017-2019.
Joseph Jeong
Joseph is a Wall Street veteran, Entrepreneur, Angel Investor, Mentor, Educator and father of 2. He currently serves as Advisor and Mentor at the X-Lab in China's top university, Tsinghua and Oya Opportunities. He also serves as a mentor and resident Fintech expert at Chinaccelerator. Joseph received his Entrepreneurship Teaching Certificate from MIT, Leadership training from Hive and Exponential Technologies training from Singularity University. He has given lectures on the topics of entrepreneurship, the future of education and FinTech at many of the top universities including HEC, CDTM, Tsinghua, PolyU HK, HKU, and HKUST. He and his partner's new Education startup is focused on developing an entrepreneurial mindset in the 99.9% of our youth that don't know they can be entrepreneurs...yet!
From the alleyways of China, to the streets of NY, Joseph immigrated to the United States from China with nothing. He started working at age 9 and by age 14 he had found his passion in investing and trading. He went on to teach himself the art of investing and got his first internship at a brokerage at age 17. He graduated UCLA and went on to have a successful career at UBS, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. He also helped co-found a successful Asian hedge fund and co-founded an institutional brokerage in the middle of the Global Financial Crisis. That firm was later sold to India's second largest financial services firm and remains their Asia unit to this day.
Joseph is devoting his life to helping our youth find their passions early, as he did when he was 14 and help kindle their brilliant entrepreneurial minds.
Megan Christensen
After graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, Megan Christensen spent a year in Mexico as part of the Fulbright-Garcia Robles Binational Business internship where she worked as Venture Coordinator at Ashoka, a global organization that supports social entrepreneurs. She has also worked at Point Loma Nazarene University where she assisted International Ministries team to coordinate a total of 700+ university students' summer service trips and internships in 15+ international locations. Currently, Megan is the Vice President at Watson University, an incubator and school for student social entrepreneurs. Watson University offers a semester program along with a full degree track that allows students to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Entrepreneurship in addition to helping them launch their ventures.
Prakash Neupane
Prakash Neupane is the Entrepreneur turned from social evangelist, experimenting on consumer focus tech venture and social enterprise. He has experience of working on value driven enterprise with stake holder collaboration to create the social sharing economy. He is cofounder of Sarathi Cab, Online cab booking platform in Nepal and Nepflights, Online domestic flight booking platform in Nepal. He has strength of team lead, planning, evaluation and monitoring of business. Prakash and his partner Ravi has recently raised the angel investment for Sarathi(Record making Investment).
Prakash has won the Best ICT Startup last year and Top 100 Asian companies on 2015 for NepFlights.

With over 17 years of experience in Sales and Management, Rahuel has an in-depth knowledge of working in cross- functional domains like E-Commerce, Logistics, International Trade, Banking & Consulting. He has led the regional businesses of large MNC logistics and consulting companies like FedEx and Dun & Bradstreet. Rahuel has been instrumental in translating his extensive experience to drive the vision and business growth at Tenovia and IGTC (Indo Global Trade Connectors).
Rahuel heads Marketing at Strategy at Tenovia Solutions which is a leading eCommerce and Digital solutions company based in India. Rahuel is also the founder of ‘Indo Global Trade connectors’ where he sees himself as its "Chief Connector", connecting small business owners and entrepreneurs with resources to develop and grow their business.

Ravi Singhal
Ravi Singhal is an entrepreneur working in Nepal’s tech and marketing industry since the year 2009. Ravi promotes and believes in best utilization of technology to grow any business and has been contributing to different communities with his time and expertise.
He is the CEO of “Social Aves” – Nepal’s leading Digital Marketing company and Co-Founder of “Sarathi Cab” – An emerging cab booking company of Nepal.
